It's important to take a step back from our busy schedules and hectic lifestyle and take a deep breath, to relax and rejuvenate.  Ask yourself,, "what did I do today that was good for my health, my body and my mind?"  Taijiquan is the answer.  Qigong is also an option.  If you are exhausted practise these.  Both help with relaxation, Qigong more so than Taijiquan, as Qigong is more of a health exercise  and Taijiquan is, after all, a martial art.

Taijiquan is my passion and way of life.  Practise is strenuous but worth it.  Energy levels are higher, you become more active and your thoughts are more lucid.  You are able to make decisions calmly and rationally.

Lately I have been practising Taijiquan really hard and pushed my body and my mind to the absolute limit.  My knees were taking a bit of strain and I was experiencing some pain.  On this particular afternoon I was at the park for practise.  I decided  to start with the 8 Pieces Of Brocade Qigong exercise.  When I had finished the pain in my knees had vanished.  I practised Taijiquan for 2 hours thereafter.  What an amazing feeling that was.

Start practising Taijiquan and Qigong, especially now during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Strengthen your immune system naturally.  Make the time.  You are worth it.
